FACE-TO-FACE AND ONLINE WORKSHOP

The second edition of the International Workshop Accounting and Taxation (IWAT2023) will be held on February 17, 2023, at ISAG – European Business School in partnership with the Consuelo Vieira da Costa Foundation’s Research Centre in Business Sciences and Tourism (CICET-FCVC).

The previous edition, IWAT2021, is indexed in Google Scholar and EBSCO, through the proceedings book. Thus, and taking into consideration the success of the first edition, IWAT2023 intends to continue the debate on current and relevant topics in the accounting and taxation sectors, including related and highly challenging areas in the current business context, such as social and environmental sustainability and digitalization in organizations and accounting.

IWAT2023 will enable both face-to-face and virtual participation in the Workshop. Participants are invited to submit papers in Portuguese, Spanish and/or English in two modalities: short paper/full paper and extended abstract. All papers and abstracts will be subject to a peer review process. Accepted papers presented at the Workshop will be published in the e-book, which will be made available to the participants of the event (DOI: https://doi.org/10.58869/01| ISBN: 978-989-54164-6-2 | ISSN: 2184-9730).

The e-book is indexed by Business Source Ultimate | EBSCO and Google Scholar, and submitted to indexation at Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), ProQuest and SCOPUS (Elsevier).

Articles/abstracts/extended abstracts presented at IWAT2023, will have the opportunity to be selected for publication in a special issue of the European Journal of Applied Business and Management. EJABM is currently indexed in the international databases Google Scholar, ICI Copernicus Journals Master List, DRJI, Latindex and REDIB. If invited to publish in this scientific journal, authors are expected to change the paper by at least 50%, including a change of title and abstract. All journal rules and procedures must be followed and there is no guarantee of publication.

Authors may also be invited to publish a book chapter on the “Enhancing Sustainability Through Non-Financial Reporting” manuscript.

We are counting on you!
